Connect, Integrate, Heal
Starting therapy, or finding the right therapist, can feel overwhelming. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and supported in the process. I believe my clients are the experts in their own lives. My job is to help you access your own internal resources and wisdom so you can find peace and connection with yourself and your relationships. I strive to create safety for all my clients, especially those who have been historically harmed or marginalized by mental health services.
My speciality areas include:
-Adults experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustments and life transitions, and those processing complex developmental trauma.
-Couples and adult family systems navigating relationship and parenting challenges, including relationship therapy for parents and their adult children.
-Individuals who are part of the adoption constellation (birth parents, adoptive parents, and adult adoptees).
For those who like details, my approach integrates relational, attachment-based and psychodynamic perspectives, always tailored to your unique story. I know that no two clients are the same, which is one of the reasons I love this work. I am trained in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, and I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) from an EMDRIA-approved program for treating trauma. Both of these methods are considered the gold standard in the field because of their robust research base. I have also seen in my practice their incredible benefits. I am a lifelong learner, and I love expanding my understanding of our field to serve my clients better.
I am a Board-approved clinical supervisor for pre-licensed social work practitioners. I love supporting new clinicians, and find it mutually beneficial to learn alongside my colleagues in this way. Please reach out for more information on clinical supervision.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT:
I acknowledge and honor the Dakhóta Oyáte (Dakota People), who are the original stewards of the land on which I live and practice. The Dakota, as well as Ojibwe and other Indigenous people cared for this land for thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans.
